The Job Guide selects new CEO
Bentonville, Arkansas: The Job Guide today announced that Alex Martinez, current Chief Business Development Officer has been selected as The Job Guide’s new Chief Executive Officer. Martinez will assume the new role effective immediately. The Job Guide is a bi-weekly employment publication that began printing in 1988. From that time, over 10 million copies of The Job Guide have been distributed in NWA, Fort Smith, SW Missouri and the Tulsa Metro Area.

I plan to continue to deliver a high quality product while keeping the integrity of the brand The Job Guide has built.”
Martinez succeeds Angela Robinson who will continue in an advisory capacity. Sunny Martinez remains COO and Publisher of The Job Guide.

Martinez is the former CEO of Soltel Networks, an integrated digital media communications agency that specialized in developing and executing highly successful and innovative digital strategies for such notable companies as America’s Car Mart, The Job Guide, and over 150 clients nationwide. In addition to helping clients increase their audience and revenues, Martinez has advised various non-profit organizations, policy makers, and legislators on their digital initiatives, as well as serves as a speaker at industry events. Martinez led Soltel Networks for 10 years.
Martinez has held various leadership positions in the region’s community based organizations including President of LULAC Council 754, President of the Regional Chamber of Commerce for SW Missouri and NWA, Co-Chairman of the Multi-Cultural Committee for the Rogers/Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce, and was nominated for Hispanic Magazine’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Martinez currently serves on the Arkansas Minority Advisory Council, which is a division within the Arkansas Economic Development Commission and a Board Member of the Northwest Arkansas Workforce Development Board.
