February 17, 2017 – (Bentonville, Arkansas): Alex Martinez, CEO of The Job Guide was elected to serve as the Chairman of the Arkansas Minority Advisory Council, a division of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission.
“I am excited to have been elected to serve as Chairman of the council and to continue its mission to improve business and economic opportunities in Arkansas for small and minority-owned businesses by establishing, strengthening, and promoting the growth and development of such businesses,” said Martinez.
Martinez has held various leadership positions in the region’s community based organizations including the Arkansas Minority Council, President of LULAC Council 754, President of the Regional Chamber of Commerce for SW Missouri, Co-Chairman of the Multi-Cultural Committee for the Rogers/Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce. Martinez currently serves on the Northwest Arkansas Workforce Development Board and is involved with the Greater Bentonville Chamber of Commerce, Rogers/Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce, Tulsa Regional Chamber of Commerce, Tulsa Area Human Resources Association and the Tulsa Rotary Club.
